Hello. I am Erik Wilson, a father of four children (16, 13, 10 and 9) and husband to my high school sweetheart of 23 years. I grew up in southwestern Virginia and moved to Jacksonville in 1990.
I experienced and have worked through a broken marriage due to my own addictions and workaholism, stress, depression and anxiety. Over the last several years, amazing healing has occurred and these experiences have opened many doors to helping others. These experiences also led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling.
I specialize in helping men and couples, and I’d love to help you. Specifically, I help men who are struggling with drugs or alcohol, pornography use or sex addiction. I help couples recover from infidelity, conflict, and a lack of connection in their marriage. I am involved in ongoing training, using the leading research based methods for relationship therapy and addictions.
I look forward to walking alongside you in working through the issues that seem insurmountable and irreversible. My desire is to offer and share hope, and through this process, provide the opportunity and atmosphere to allow you and your loved ones to live a life not yet lived.
I graduated from The Florida State University with a Masters in Accounting and spent nearly 20 years in real estate development and accounting. I recently completed a Master’s of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Asbury Seminary. I have two wonderfully supportive parents, a 31 year-old brother and 18 year-old sister.
I am very involved in my local church, and enjoy serving there. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, spending time with my family, and fishing.
NOTE: Erik Wilson is acquiring hours to obtain full licensure with the state of Florida, and is under supervision provided by Dr. Tabitha Johnson. Sessions may be recorded for training purposes.
