Hi, my name is Lina Herrera-Guarneros. A native of Colombia, I moved to the United States at the age of 10. I am happily married and a proud mother of four – ages 22,19, 11 and 3…so my house and my heart are very full, and my kids ensure there’s never a dull moment in life. 🙂
Growing up, I had a difficult time dealing with my parents absence when they left me with extended family members to migrate to the United States. Reuniting with my family in the USA and adjusting to a new culture and language was a struggle, but it reinforced the value of family and taught me resiliency.
I decided to pursue a career in the mental health field that allows me the opportunity to help people. I aim to help others experience healthy family relationships and work through the many obstacles life brings such as marital problems, culture adjustment, blended families, and parenting struggles. I thrive seeing families together and happy, and helping individuals and couples accomplish their goals.
