Sarah Jang – Therapist in Jacksonville, FL

Hi, I’m Sarah – it’s great to meet you.
I know firsthand how overwhelming life can feel at times, and how powerful it is to have someone walk alongside you in those moments. My own experience with anxiety and the growth I found through therapy are what inspired me to pursue this path. I’ve always had a heart for helping others and a deep curiosity about what shapes us — our stories, our relationships, and the ways we heal.
Whether it’s been comforting a friend, supporting my teammates, or rescuing my dog Millie, I’ve always found purpose in showing up for others. Now, as a therapist, I’m honored to support clients in building greater self-understanding, resilience, and connection. I am fortunate to be part of a team at FTAJ that values personalized, integrative care.

Biography
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Florida State University and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University.
My professional background includes work in community-based mental health, where I supported individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional and psychiatric needs. I’ve collaborated closely with psychiatric providers in medication management programs and helped clients transition from inpatient hospitalization to outpatient care. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the mental health system and strengthened my commitment to accessible, relationship-focused care.
Outside of work, I enjoy running with my dog Millie, spending time at the beach, and relaxing with family and friends.
NOTE: Sarah Jang is acquiring the clinical hours required to complete a mental health counseling degree and is under supervision provided by Ida Holem and Dr. Tabitha Johnson.
