Mallory Fuller – Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Jacksonville, FL

Headshot of Mallory Fuller, M.A., LMHC, therapist at Family Therapy Associates of Jacksonville
Mallory Fuller

Hi, my name is Mallory Fuller! Although I was born in Jacksonville, my childhood was spent moving up and down the East Coast due to my father’s service in the Navy. I have had the wonderful experience of living in the beautiful states of Maine, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia. After my parents’ divorce during my adolescence, my mother, siblings and I returned home to sunny Jacksonville, Florida. I have stayed here since and am very excited to be a part of the Family Therapy Associates team!

Throughout my upbringing, I gravitated toward helping others. I always looked forward to and enjoyed volunteering with my church at local food pantries, homeless shelters, and organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. Aside from volunteer opportunities, I offered my support and listening ear to numerous individuals in my life. My desire to become a therapist bloomed from a specific incident where I aided a close friend throughout a difficult time in their life. Later on, they expressed the positive impact my help had on them. It’s been my dream has been to pursue a path in helping others ever since that moment. Our journey through life is ever-changing with many trials and tribulations. I aim to help you through these challenges to experience the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible.

Who I can help

Individuals: Are you finding yourself in a difficult time? If you are struggling with depression and anxiety, I can help. Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or burnt out? I can aid you in managing your feelings of stress.

Adolescents: Pre-teen and teenage years are filled with tremendous transitions. I help pre-teens and teenagers work through and manage these times as well as the feelings of anxiety, stress, and depression that may come with them. If you are adapting to a changing family environment, such as a move, divorce, or re-marriage, I also can help you adjust to these changes. In addition, I provide help in the areas of communication, self-esteem, and relationships.

Women: I can help you build a strong relationship with yourself. I can support and help you in your journey of finding and accepting yourself, building self-esteem, and becoming empowered.

Couples: Whether you are getting married soon, or have been married for years, I can help you enhance your communication, adjust to transitions, and work through challenges you may be facing as a couple. Together, we can work toward achieving a strong, connected relationship.

Biography

I attended the University of North Florida and graduated with two Bachelor’s degrees; one in Psychology and one in Criminal Justice. Throughout my undergraduate career, I had the opportunity to intern at a local domestic violence shelter. While there, I worked with individuals in crisis through empowerment-based interventions, victim advocacy, and providing workshops on financial literacy.

I obtained my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. I am a current member of the National Counseling Honor Society and the American Counseling Association (ACA). I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida (MH25058). In addition, I am a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider  (BC-TMH 3773) and able to provide both phone and video-based sessions to my clients.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the beach and collecting seashells, running, and spending time with family and friends.
