Hi, I’m Frances Chomic! I recently relocated to Jacksonville from Corpus Christi, Texas with my husband, a Naval Officer, and our dog, Bodi. I grew up in many places around the world including California, Texas, Virginia, Singapore, London, and even Morocco! I am very excited to continue my adventure here in Florida.
Who I can help
Individuals: If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or trying to move past traumatic events in your life, I can help.
Couples: Are you struggling to connect? I can help you want to find better ways to communicate, fight fair, and want to feel more romance and passion again.
Couples with travel: If you are in the military or part of a military family, or if you’re in a commuter marriage (where one partner leaves town each week or for an extended amount of time for work) I can help you find ways to stay connected during and after travel.
Parents: If you’re struggling with parenting, or your children are causing problems in your romantic relationship, I’d love to help. Being a parent has it’s tough moments, but certain situations can add even more stress, such as dating after children, blending a step-family, or if your child suffers with behavioral or social challenges. If you’re at your wits end with parenting your child, or you’re experiencing relationship distress with your partner, you don’t have to manage it alone. I can help you reconnect to your mate, offer strategies for parenting, and help you experience more peace.
Adolescents: I help teens and pre-teens struggling with anxiety, depression, social interactions, break-ups, bullying, or adapting to changing family situations (parents’ separation, divorce, blended family, etc.).
I am so excited to be a part of the amazing team at Family Therapy Associates of Jacksonville, and even more excited to help you and your relationships.
